Job summary

Brio Digital is seeking a Data Engineer to join a HealthTech transformation project. The role supports NHS data platforms with AWS, Databricks, Python and SQL expertise. Location involves 1-2 days on-site in Leeds with UK-wide remote work considered as part of the hybrid setup.

You will design data pipelines, optimise data ingestion from MongoDB and implement governance and testing within CI/CD workflows. Healthcare data familiarity is a bonus; healthcare standards knowledge is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience designing end-to-end data pipelines in cloud ecosystems.
• Hands-on Python for ETL and data engineering.
• Advanced SQL for data modelling and performance tuning.
• Experience with AWS data services and Databricks.
• Familiarity with MongoDB or NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of data governance and testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain end-to-end data pipelines in AWS.
• Build reliable data solutions using Databricks, Python and SQL.
• Integrate data from diverse sources including MongoDB.
• Develop ETL processes for analytics and operations.
