Job summary

Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for Healthcare Support Worker roles at Agenda for Change Band 3. Two entry routes exist: qualified/experienced or trainee with the National Living Wage (up to 6 months).

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
• 2 years’ substantive experience as a Healthcare Support Worker or Nursing Assistant in an acute NHS setting (Band 2 allowed)
• 3 years’ substantive experience in a UK community care setting providing adult patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide Safe, Kind and effective care to patients
• Complete the 7-day Healthcare Assistant Induction
• Work to complete the Care Certificate within 6 months of appointment
