Job summary

Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a care assistant to support inpatients on community wards at Haywood Hospital and Cheadle Hospital. You will monitor patients, assist with personal care and medications, and support rehabilitation and safeguarding on a dementia-friendly, round-the-clock service.

Qualifications

• Assist with personal care and medication as required.

Responsibilities

• Support patients with personal care, including bathing and hygiene.
• Assist with medication management and use of equipment as directed.
• Deliver care plans and contribute to safeguarding.
• Record care and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support patients to transition to appropriate services.
