NHS Lanarkshire invites applications for Modern Apprenticeships in Social Services and Healthcare. These roles are based across Lanarkshire, offering training toward a Level 6 SCQF qualification in Social Services and Healthcare.

The 12‑month fixed-term contract starts January 12, 2027, with 36 hours per week and part-time options pro‑rata. Eligibility includes aged 16–24 on 1 January 2027 (or up to 29 with a disability or care experience) and SCQF/National 5 proficiency.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, and oral hygiene.
• Clinical Support: Taking temperatures or blood pressures under supervision.
• Community Care: Visiting patients at home, assisting with meals, and monitoring conditions.
• Documentation: Reporting patient conditions to registered staff.
• Safety & Hygiene: Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients.
