Job summary

Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker to join the ward team on a bank/ad hoc basis. You will support patient care, help with administrative duties and collaborate with Registered Nurses and consultants to deliver exceptional care.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting. We offer a benefits package including holiday entitlement, pension access and a discounted gym membership.

As a Support Worker on the ward at our hospital, you’ll show us you’re able to meet deadlines and follow instructions. You have a good telephone manner, and great computer and database skills. You will need to be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.

We take pride in delivering high standards of patient care to both private patients and the NHS. Our facilities include 44 purpose built en-suite rooms, 3 operating theatres plus 1 endoscopy theatre. Other facilities include physiotherapy and a diagnostic department. We are located in Woodingdean, on the east side of Brighton with easy access by rail and road, including free parking.
