Job summary

Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join the Ward on a part-time, bank basis. The role includes weekend work and operates on an ad-hoc schedule to suit business needs and availability.

The candidate will be NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care qualified with relevant hospital or care setting experience, capable of meeting deadlines, following instructions, and using computer/database tools. You’ll contribute to high standards of patient care and teamwork.

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care with relevant experience.

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Healthcare Assistant on the ward at our hospital, you’ll show us you’re able to meet deadlines and follow instructions. You have a good telephone manner, and great computer and database skills. You will be qualified with an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, and hold relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
