Job summary

InHealth is expanding its team at a brand-new Community Diagnostic Centre in Yeovil. We’re hiring Healthcare Support Workers / Decontamination Technicians to deliver an Endoscopy service to the highest standard, aligned to patient needs.

The role offers full-time hours (37.5) with hybrid and flexible working options, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for learning and development within a supportive team.

Job description

InHealth is expanding our team and we’re looking for Healthcare Support Workers / Decontamination Technicians to join our Endoscopy team at our brand-new Community Diagnostic Centre in Yeovil.

You’ll help deliver an Endoscopy service to the highest standard, using a care model that recognises the psychological, physical & social needs of our patients.

Full Time | 37.5 hrs | 8am-6pm | 4 days/week | Flexibility Mon-Sun

What you’ll do:
  • Welcome patients professionally & act as their advocate
  • Clean, monitor & tidy equipment; report issues to senior staff
  • Record & share relevant patient info/observations
  • Deliver patient care as per Senior Nurse’s care plan
  • Maintain clear communication with patients, relatives & team
  • Show a positive attitude & uphold InHealth’s high standards

Note that this payment is not applicable to clinical staff working within the Echocardiography division, or Diabetic Eye Screening. The Weekend Payment does not apply to those on a flexible working agreement and part time workers that have requested to work weekend hours/days as part of their working agreement. The Weekend Payment also doesn’t apply to those who are working remotely or carrying out administrative work from home.
