Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust in Paignton/Brixham seeks an adaptable healthcare support role to assist clinicians and patients across sites. You will perform diagnostic tasks, support clinics, and complete essential paperwork as part of a dynamic nursing team.

This is a exciting opportunity to work across sites in a interesting and varied role. The Outpatient’s Department is responsible for providing support for various clinics that attend the Department. You will be working alongside clinicians in providing support to patients and consultants attending the department. The role has a a varied shift pattern in order to provide support to the clinics to provide diagnostic tests, including blood sampling, simple procedures and consultations, along with the relevant paperwork.
When not attending clinics you will work within the Nursing and HCSW team at Brixham Hospital within the Inpatient services. Brixham Hospital Ward is a 20 bedded rehab unit, where you will attend to care needs of the patients whilst working within the dynamic nursing team.
In your role, you will be supported with your development needs both from in house training and also from external courses whilst having regular supervision and appraisal to ensure you are helped to reach your maximum potential and development.
