Overton Unit is a 27-bed ward dedicated to providing a safe and well-being environment for patients that are medically fit and awaiting a discharge destination.

The Band 6 role is a key supporting function to the Band 7, enabling the optimal care of our patients and contributing to the success of our Trust. Delivering high-quality, effective, and compassionate care is the most important role within the organization.

A presentation will be required if shortlisted.

Training & Qualifications

• Proficiency in written and verbal English
• Professional UK registration (e.g., NMC, HPC)
• Post-registration qualifications in the relevant field
• Formal training and/or experience in mentorship
• Computer literacy
• Membership of relevant special interest groups

Experience & Knowledge

• Evidence of ongoing Professional Development (CPD)
• Experience in staff supervision, including workforce budgeting and staff development planning
