Job summary

Spire Murrayfield Hospital in Wirral is seeking a Stores Assistant to join our stores team on a part-time, permanent basis. You will help ensure departments receive stock, consumables and supplies promptly while maintaining accurate stock records.

Working hours are 07:30 to 12:00, Monday to Friday, and the role offers a supportive hospital environment where attention to detail and teamwork are essential. Experience in healthcare is advantageous; back-up stock control, deliveries, and COSHH

Qualifications

Experience in stores, supplies or stock control is essential.
Healthcare experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Receive and process deliveries from suppliers and the National Distribution Centre.
Distribute stock and non-stock items to hospital departments.
Support daily stock control, top-up counts and stock replenishment.
Ensure all goods are matched accurately to purchase orders and recorded correctly.
Help maintain safe, organised and clearly labelled stores areas.
Support stock rotation to minimise waste and ensure out-of-date stock is not used.
Liaise with internal teams, suppliers and colleagues to resolve stock queries in a timely manner.
