Job summary

NHS Ayrshire & Arran is seeking a Stores Person for the main kitchen at University Hospital Crosshouse. The role involves stock ordering, ingredient control, receipting goods, and timely data processing to the admin team. You will maintain hygiene standards in line with HACCP and Environmental Health requirements.

The post is permanent, operates 0630-1300, Monday to Friday, and offers the opportunity to contribute to patient meals and staff catering services within the hospital facilities.

Qualifications

• Desirable for current Food Hygiene Certificate, or essential to complete with the first 3 months of employment.
• Mandatory corporate induction and statutory training will be provided/required.

Responsibilities

• Order stock and manage ingredient control according to current recipes.
• Receipting of goods and timely processing to the admin team.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and HACCP/Environmental Health data records.
