Job summary

NHS Dumfries & Galloway is seeking a Software Systems Designer & Developer to join our Applications & Development Team. This role will design, develop, implement and support software solutions and system integrations that underpin healthcare delivery across the region.

You will work on clinical and corporate systems, supporting patient-facing applications, integration platforms and reporting tools, collaborating with clinicians, managers and suppliers to deliver reliable, innovative digital

Qualifications

Experience of software design, development and implementation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Database administration experience.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
Experience working with system integrations, interfaces or healthcare systems would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement and support software solutions and system integrations.
Oversee software development, system integration, and database administration.
Collaborate with clinicians, managers, and suppliers to deliver digital solutions.
Support ongoing digital transformation of NHS services.
Work across a diverse portfolio of clinical and corporate systems.
