Job summary

Medirest at King's Mill Hospital in Sutton-in-Ashfield is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead a team of security professionals within a busy healthcare environment, ensuring the safety of patients, staff and visitors.

You will coordinate day-to-day operations, monitor CCTV and access control, respond to incidents, and produce clear incident reports while upholding Health & Safety and safeguarding rules.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a security team, preferably in healthcare.
• Holds a valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in healthcare/public sector or high-footfall environments is desirable.
• Ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day security operations and staff.
• Ensure security activities align with NHS and company policies.
• Carry out regular patrols and inspections across the site.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies promptly.
• Support investigations and incident reporting.
• Monitor CCTV and access control procedures.
• Assist with rosters, attendance, training, and performance.
