Job summary

Compass Group UK&I's Medirest division seeks a Healthcare Security Supervisor to support a safe, secure hospital environment. You will lead a team of Security Officers, manage incidents, and assist the Healthcare Security Manager in daily operations.

We value strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to stay composed in challenging situations, while delivering high standards of service and patient care across the site.

Qualifications

• Valid Frontline SIA Licence.
• Valid First Aid Qualification.
• Previous security supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Good IT skills and report-writing ability.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing incidents effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Security Officers.
• Respond to security, fire, and emergency incidents.
• Provide guidance and support in challenging situations, including conflict management and de-escalation.
• Manage access control, ID systems, key control, CCTV, and lost property processes.
• Complete incident investigations and reports.
• Ensure compliance with security procedures, health & safety requirements, and service standards.
• Support staff training, development, and performance management.
• Build positive relationships with hospital departments and stakeholders.
