Job summary

Michael Page in Manchester is seeking a Healthcare Regulatory Lawyer to provide expert legal advice on a range of healthcare regulatory matters. You will work within a Tier 1 Legal 500 ranked team and advise healthcare professionals on high-profile matters, including GMC and GDC investigations, inquests, and police investigations.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 2-5 PQE and experience in healthcare regulatory law.
• Experience advising healthcare professionals on high-profile matters and regulatory investigations.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload with minimal supervision.
• Advise on GMC and GDC investigations.
• Represent clients at inquests and pre-inquest review hearings.
• Advise on police investigations and Trust disciplinary matters.
• Support senior lawyers and supervise junior team members where appropriate.
• Achieve financial and chargeable hour targets.
• Produce monthly and ad hoc client management information reports.
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development.

You will work within a Tier 1 Legal 500 ranked team.

Description

As a Healthcare Regulatory Lawyer your duties will include;

• Managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
• Advising on GMC and GDC investigations
• Representing clients at inquests and pre-inquest review hearings
• Advising on police investigations and Trust disciplinary matters
• Supporting senior lawyers and supervising junior team members where appropriate
• Achieving financial and chargeable hour targets
• Producing monthly and ad hoc client management information reports
• Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development activities

Profile

A successful Healthcare Regulatory Lawyer should be a qualified solicitor between 2-5 PQE ideally with experience in healthcare regulatory law.

Job Offer
