Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland, based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, is seeking a Mechanical Craftsperson to join our team on a permanent basis. The role is full-time, offering 37.5 hours per week and a competitive salary plus benefits.

You will maintain and service water and mechanical systems within healthcare environments, including Legionella awareness and TMV/AHU servicing. You will work across Mental Health Sites in Barberry, Oleaster & Zinnia, with on-call duties and DBS check as

Qualifications

• Knowledge of water and mechanical systems in healthcare environments.
• Understanding of Legionella and other water pathogens is desirable.
• Experience with maintenance/testing activities and reporting in line with KPI/contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical craftsperson tasks as directed by management.
• Maintain services to NHS Trust and ensure paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.
• Perform temperature monitoring, TMV servicing, AHU servicing and related activities.
• Assist with on-call rota and occasional driving of company vehicle.
