Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Improvement Maintenance Engineer to join a growing healthcare manufacturing site operating within a GMP-regulated environment. You’ll be hands-on with equipment yet involved in continuous improvement, focusing on reliability, performance, and productivity across maintenance and projects.

Ideal for early-career engineers, the role offers broad exposure, structured training from experienced engineers, and collaboration with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, or related field.
• Genuine interest in maintenance and problem-solving.
• Proactive mindset to suggest and implement improvements.
• Attention to detail in a regulated environment.
• Willingness to learn and undertake training.
• Desirable: Experience in GMP, pharmaceutical, healthcare or other regulated environments.
• Desirable: Experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Desirable: Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Support planned preventive and reactive maintenance across manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
• Assist with equipment upgrades and improvement projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability and performance.
• Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, maintenance records, and docs.
• Ensure maintenance activities meet GMP and compliance standards.
• Maintain audit trails and support inspection readiness.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams.
