Clyde & Co is seeking Associates to join its Healthcare team across Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Southampton, or London. The role involves handling challenging clinical negligence matters, advising clients and drafting complex documents.

Ideal candidates will have strong PQE, healthcare experience, and a track record in defending high-value cases. The firm emphasizes engagement, quality work, and cross-office collaboration across its global network.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 PQE (PQE levels are a guide).
• Strong legal skills and initiative with the ability to manage a varied caseload.
• Defended clinical negligence experience and healthcare sector exposure.

Responsabilités

• Applying strong technical skills and legal principles to complex problems.
• Drafting and interpreting complex legal documents.
• Advising on claims involving breaches of professional standards.
• Conducting legal discussions with clients and witnesses.
• Presenting at seminars and writing for publications.
• Preparing court documents and managing client expectations.
