Job summary

Bupa UK is seeking an IT Systems Engineer for permanent work at New Victoria Hospital. The role focuses on installing and maintaining server, network, and related hardware to ensure hospital computer systems run smoothly.

You will manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy, and support cloud platforms like Azure or AWS. Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in an IT Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or Systems Administrator role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Experience managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs and firewalls.
• Experience supporting cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing IT infrastructure.
• Ensure all software updates are done regularly and securely.
• Assist with implementation of new hardware and software.
• Ensure all equipment is secure.
• Provide 3rd line support to colleagues.
• Provide training on new and existing systems to colleagues.
