Job summary

Bupa is hiring a Solution Architect for the Secondary Care domain. The role is based in multiple UK locations with a hybrid pattern, offering up to 3 days remote work and a salary from £73.5k plus a 10% bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Ability to define, govern and communicate end-to-end architectures.

  • Lead the development of architectures for complex solutions ensuring consistency with requirements.
  • Establish policies and practices for selection of architecture components.
  • Communicate proposed decisions to stakeholders in technical and non-technical language.
  • Provide architectural guidance to delivery teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Develop and drive adoption of design standards and lifecycle models.

Permanent: hybrid, up to 3 days WFH

Salary from: £73.5k + 10% bonus + fantastic benefits

How you'll help us make health happen
  • Lead the development of architectures for complex solutions ensuring consistency with agreed requirements
  • Establish policies, principles and practices for the selection of solution architecture components
  • Manage trade-offs and balance functional, service quality and systems management requirements
  • Communicate proposed decisions to stakeholders using technical and non technical language
  • Provide organisational leadership and guidelines to promote the development of specialist knowledge in the organisation
  • Develop and drive adoption of and adherence to organisational policies, standards, guidelines and methods for system design
  • Champion the importance and value of system design principles and the selection of appropriate systems design life cycle models
  • Lead system design activities for strategic, large and complex systems development programmes
  • Develop effective implementation strategies consistent with specified requirements, architectures and constraints of performance and feasibility
  • Develop system design requiring the introduction of new technologies or new uses for existing technologies
What you'll bring
  • Extensive experience in solution architecture, systems design or complex technology delivery in a healthcare environment
  • Proven leadership of large or complex solution architectures, often spanning multiple projects or programmes
  • Defining and governing end to end solution architectures for strategically significant initiatives
  • Providing authoritative solution architecture guidance to delivery teams and senior stakeholders
  • Experience leading feasibility assessments, architectural option analysis and business case input, influencing design and investment decisions
  • Demonstrable equivalent professional experience gained through senior solution architecture roles
