Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Associate Finance Business Partner to join the Finance Directorate. The role supports in accounting tasks, delivers financial information to clinical and operational teams, and collaborates with the Finance Business Partner to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.

You will base at Exeter or Barnstaple with hybrid office arrangements and potential inter-site travel.

Qualifications

• As a qualified accountant or with equivalent experience, you will possess excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Experience in management accounting and financial reporting is essential.
• Ability to work across clinical and non‑clinical services and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Managing the monthly closedown process and forecasting the outturn position.
• Providing timely, high quality financial information to operational and clinical staff.
• Communicating with senior leaders, providing expert advice and challenge on financial matters.
• Support the business planning process including business case development and saving plans.
• Line management responsibilities for other Business Partnering staff.
