Job summary

Rydon Maintenance Ltd is seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Operative to join the team on an NHS contract based in Ilford. The role focuses on plumbing repairs, planned preventive maintenance and other general building tasks within a live healthcare environment.

You will work Monday to Friday, with on-call standby potentially increasing earnings, and you will benefit from a comprehensive package including a company van, fuel card, and contributory pension.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing qualification is essential.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance in buildings.
• Ability to carry out general building repairs (electrics, carpentry, plastering).

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing repairs and planned maintenance on plant and systems.
• Perform reactive maintenance and basic electrical and carpentry tasks.
• Work in a live healthcare environment following safety protocols.
