Job summary

Diaverum UK is seeking a proactive Facilities Operations Manager to lead FM service performance across a multisite healthcare estate. You will drive contractor performance, maintain compliance, and improve governance while collaborating with clinical and operational stakeholders.

This role is home-based with regular attendance at St Albans Head Office and UK-wide travel. You will shape standards, manage risk, and deliver safe, reliable facilities for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities management within a regulated environment.
• Strong contractor and supplier management experience.
• Experience coordinating planned and reactive maintenance and maintaining compliance records.
• Understanding of facilities compliance and governance in healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Take operational ownership of FM service performance across a multisite UK healthcare estate.
• Build relationships with contractors and challenge poor performance.
• Strengthen statutory compliance, audits, and facilities governance.
• Identify opportunities to improve service quality, resilience and value for money.
• Collaborate with Head of Facilities and senior stakeholders across clinical and operational functions.
• Develop consistent FM standards and ways of working across Diaverum sites.
• Oversee property maintenance, repairs and building services.
• Manage fire safety provisions and testing programs.
• Coordinate cleaning, grounds and soft FM services.
• Manage energy and utility contracts and supplier performance.
• Oversee asset registers, RAMS, and regulatory documentation.
• Support inspections, audits and regulatory engagement.
