Elysium Healthcare is seeking a Maintenance Lead to oversee two specialist services in St Neots. You will lead a maintenance team, manage day-to-day tasks, and ensure safety, compliance and reliability of building services.

The role focuses on planning and coordinating PPM, supervising contractors, prioritising repairs, and contributing to health and safety and governance meetings. The salary and benefits reflect our commitment to staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital or similar environment.
• Strong managerial and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt and be practical.
• Good English language skills (GCSE level D or equivalent).
• Knowledge of statutory legislation (fire, electrical, health & safety).
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a maintenance team at St Neots Neurological Centre.
• Oversee day-to-day maintenance activities and prioritise workloads.
• Coordinate planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and compliance requirements.
• Manage contractors on site and ensure works are completed safely and to standard.
• Assist with administrative processes including purchase orders, invoices and budget monitoring.
