The post holder will drive operational plans, capital project delivery and performance management to maintain high standards of service for patients and clinical colleagues.

Qualifications

• Strong track record of managing and delivering a customer focused estates maintenance service in a complex environment, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Mechanical maintenance service to deliver a robust, technically strong and customer-focused service.
• Manage the in-house mechanical team of 6-8 staff and external contractors to complete tasks safely and effectively.
• Provide operational support in the delivery of capital projects and ensure appropriate financial, workforce and performance management arrangements.
