Job summary

NHS Scotland in Fife is seeking a Dispatcher to join the Flow and Navigation (FNC) team to liaise with other services and provide acute care across a seven day service.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, following agreed processes and using medical terminology while leveraging solid computer skills and local knowledge of Fife. Rota is planned over a four-week cycle, with flexibility across 08:00–20:30, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in a health-care setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Good computer skills.
• Geographical knowledge of Fife.

Responsibilities

• Work with a Multi-Disciplinary Team to ensure safe and effective service delivery.
• Liaise with other key services to provide acute care across seven days in Fife.
• Follow agreed processes and scripting to maintain quality of service.
