Job summary

Boots Healthcare Logistics Driver (HLD) role: deliver and collect medicines to care homes, patients at home, GP surgeries, and Boots stores using pre-planned routes via handheld navigation. Strong customer care focus, safety, and compliant driving are essential.

Provides 25 hours per week with shifts starting around 08:45 and finishing at 17:00 or 20:30. Requires a full UK driving licence; on-site role with Boots network supporting timely, accurate deliveries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year's driving experience.
• Able to read and interpret delivery routes and instructions.
• Enjoy following process and working at pace to achieve service levels.
• Physical stamina and capability to perform heavy lifting.
• Comfortable using new technology.
• Calm in face of unexpected changes or challenges.
• Genuine desire to help people and provide legendary care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect medicines from care homes, patients at home, GP surgeries and Boots stores within an allocated route time.
• Build great relationships with store teams, care homes and GP surgeries.
• Follow standards, operating policies and health and safety procedures.
• Drive safely and legally.
• Keep your vehicle maintained and report any damage or issues.
• Feedback relevant customer comments and concerns and make suggestions on how the operation can be improved.
