Job summary

Boots Healthcare Logistics is seeking a Driver (HLD) to deliver and collect medicines to care homes, patients, GP surgeries and Boots stores across assigned routes. You will use Boots-provided routing and handheld devices while upholding safety and service targets.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of driving experience, comfort with new technology, and a customer-first approach. The role emphasizes professionalism, compassionate care, and being a Boots ambassador.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year's driving experience.
• Able to read and interpret delivery routes and instructions.
• Enjoy following process and working at pace to achieve service levels and targets.
• Physical stamina for a manually demanding role with lifting.
• Comfortable using new technology.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect medicines from care homes, patients at home, GP surgeries and Boots stores within route time.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries following safety protocols.
• Use Boots-provided handheld device for pre-planned routing and satellite navigation.
• Build strong relationships with store teams, care homes and GP surgeries.
• Report any vehicle damage or issues and keep the vehicle clean.
