Boots UK is hiring a Healthcare Logistics Driver to deliver medicines to care homes, patients at home, GP surgeries and Boots stores. The role emphasizes patient-centered service, safety, and efficient routing with Boots-provided vehicles and handheld navigation tools.

You will operate under the Healthcare Logistics Manager, ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining vehicle standards, and upholding safety protocols while representing Boots professionally on every route.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year’s driving experience.
• Able to read and interpret delivery routes and instructions.
• Enjoy following process and working at pace to achieve service levels and targets.
• Physical stamina and capability to work in a manually demanding role with heavy lifting.
• Comfortable using new technology.
• Calm in the face of unexpected changes or challenges.
• Comfortable in new situations and meeting new people.
• A genuine desire to help people and provide legendary care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medicines to care homes, patients at home, GP surgeries and Boots stores within an allocated route time.
• Provide outstanding customer care and ensure timely, accurate deliveries whilst following safety protocols.
• Keep the vehicle maintained and report any damage or issues.
• Build strong relationships with store teams and healthcare customers.
• Feedback customer comments and contribute ideas to improve operations.
