Job summary

Oxford Health NHS Trust is seeking a part-time Data Analyst (Band 5) to turn complex data into meaningful insights that inform performance, outcomes and decisions. You will produce routine and ad hoc reports, monitor key measures, and investigate data quality issues, collaborating with the data team and stakeholders.

You will communicate findings to senior leaders and partners, supporting audits, benchmarking and service improvement.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent reflecting numerical skills.
• Highly numerate and good analytical skills.
• Knowledge of performance and information processes.

Responsibilities

• Producing routine daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports on access, waiting times and outcomes.
• Collecting, validating and submitting data from electronic patient record systems and other sources.
• Analysing information, identifying trends, investigating anomalies and resolving data quality issues.
• Providing clear analysis for senior managers, commissioners and partner organisations.
• Monitoring performance against targets and helping develop improvement plans.
• Presenting findings in an accessible way to inform decision-making.
