Job summary

Bouygues UK, Jersey project, is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Acute Overdale Hospital project, ensuring compliance with quality standards and providing governance support.

You will oversee preconstruction and production phases, manage labour, plant, materials and subcontractors, maintain H&S, environmental and quality performance, and work with commercial teams to protect contractual position.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in an Engineering or Construction discipline.
• Extensive experience working with a main contractor in preconstruction and construction delivery.
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and thorough understanding of UK H&S construction laws.
• Excellent leadership and financial control skills with a profit-minded mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project, health, safety and environment in line with the Business QMS and project plans.
• Set an example in internal and external relationships, upholding the highest standards.
• Ensure best value from subcontractors and suppliers through selection and management with the project team.
• Collaborate with commercial and procurement to protect the company’s financial and contractual position.
• Ensure adherence to company processes and standards across all activities.
• Coordinate with surveying, design management, buying, planning, HR, HSE to manage the project.
