Job summary

Medirest is recruiting a Chef to deliver high-quality food for Healthcare on a full-time basis (35 hours per week). You will prepare and serve meals that brighten clients’ days, oversee menu changes, and help drive innovative food concepts within a market-leading UK food service company.

We’re looking for a passion for great food, a Food Hygiene certificate, and experience supervising a team. The role offers progression within Compass Group UK&I’s Medirest division and opportunities to develop

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Food Hygiene certificate.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Experience in a similar Chef role.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve our food services.
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to improve services.
• Supporting with the creation of new menus and concepts.
• Representing Healthcare and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Monitoring inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
