Job summary

Compass Group UK&I Medirest is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor for Healthcare, responsible for overseeing all catering and service operations on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week). You will ensure kitchens and service counters run smoothly and deliver exceptional food experiences to patients, staff and visitors.

We value passion for great food, at least two years catering experience, team leadership, and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a catering/food-service environment.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards
• Supervising our culinary and catering teams to ensure we continue to deliver impeccable food and customer service
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
• Liaising between customers and our culinary and service teams to ensure we continue to exceed expectations
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to make sure everyone can excel in their role
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
