Job summary

Harrogate & District NHS Foundation Trust in Harrogate is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to provide compassionate patient care, assist with personal hygiene, feeding and comfort, and support patients to maintain dignity on a busy ward.

Candidates will hold an M&H certificate and BLS, with NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and the NHS Care Certificate. Role is full-time with pro-rata salary of £25,760–£27,476 per annum, based on location in Harrogate.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (RQF certified)
• NHS England accredited Care Certificate with evidence of full completion of the knowledge and job based assessments / relevant experience.

Job duties:

• Providing compassionate patient care, assisting with personal hygiene, feeding, fluid intake, dressing, toileting and maintaining patient comfort.

Requirements:

• Moving and Handling (M&H) Certificate
• Basic Life Support Certification
• evidence of practical training or education in a care environment.

Experience:

• Prior experience in a health care setting or relevant experience.

Qualifications:
