Job summary

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust in Somerton is seeking a dedicated healthcare support role to assist patients with daily living activities, personal care and wellbeing. You will contribute to a therapeutic environment by building positive interactions and supporting recovery under a multi-disciplinary team.

This role involves a 24-hour rotational shift pattern including nights, weekends, and bank holidays, with opportunities to develop through NVQ Level 3 in direct care or a recognised Certificate

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work toward NVQ level 3 in direct care or Certificate in Care if not previously held.
• Experience of working in a caring, supportive or people orientated position.
• An interest in people and personalities.
• Can generate ideas for activities
• An awareness of danger.
