We’re looking to recruit passionate and committed individuals across our teams at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. There are both full-time and part-time positions available, on a permanent contract.

Main duties of the job

• Work on a flexible basis to support ward/department teams throughout the Trust delivering care.
• Monitor patients and perform basic health checks.
• Serve meals and assist in feeding patients.
• Provide support to patients to maintain hygiene needs, including bathing, washing, and personal care.
• Support patients with elimination needs, such as encouraging continence, emptying urinary catheter bags, mobilising to toilet or using bedpans.
