We are recruiting passionate and committed individuals across our teams at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. Both full-time and part-time positions are available on a permanent contract.

Main duties of the job

1. Support ward/department teams throughout the Trust by working flexibly to deliver care.
2. Monitor patients and perform basic health checks.
3. Serve meals and assist in feeding patients.
4. Support patients in maintaining their hygiene needs, including bathing/washing, and caring for mouth, hair, nails, and eyes.
5. Assist with maintaining patients' elimination needs, such as encouraging continence, emptying urinary catheter bags, mobilising to the toilet or using a bedpan or commode, and maintaining hygiene after episodes of incontinence.
