Practice Plus Group is recruiting a Healthcare Assistant to join the primary care team at HMP Wymott, delivering essential clinical support in a secure environment. You will assist with clinics, reception duties, bloods and health checks, while collaborating with nurses, GPs and wider professionals.

Qualifications
- Experience in Bloods, ECGs, NEWS2, Health Checks, Observations, Wound Care.
- Experience in clinical settings such as hospital or prison/secure setting is valuable.
- Care Certificate and/or NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care preferred.
- Resilient, proactive approach to patient care.
- Ability to work in secure, fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Run and support healthcare clinics (bloods, observations, ECGs, NHS Health Checks).
- Work in reception (Early Days in Custody) performing basic health assessments and screening.
- Support health promotion and wellbeing initiatives.
- Act as pharmacy second checker and assist with medication rounds.
- Collaborate with nurses, GPs and wider healthcare professionals.
