Job summary

DaVita UK is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker to provide care for patients with a keen interest to learn and develop within an excellent team of healthcare professionals. This part-time position offers 22 hours per week and a supportive, patient-centered environment.

You will assist with admissions/discharges, maintain clean and safe clinical areas, and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Competitive salary and a strong benefits package accompany this role.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 or any relevant education.
• Healthcare-related experience, preferably in Renal.
• Good communication skills, knowledge of current professional nursing issues.
• Ability to adapt to change within the working situation.
• Good interpersonal skills, friendly and outgoing, flexible.

Responsibilities

• Keep clinical areas fully supplied with necessary equipment.
• Assist with patient admissions and discharges.
• Actively promote cleanliness and safety in the clinical area.
• Promote and demonstrate effective communication with patients, users and providers.
• Undertake administrative duties as required.
