Bromley Park Care Home, part of Nellsar, is seeking a Health Care Assistant for night shifts (44 hours/week). The role involves caring for residents, supporting families, and ensuring compassionate, person-centred care in a 7-day rota. Hourly rate is £13.00.

The team offers extensive induction, paid training, DBS support, and opportunities for professional development within a family-owned care group operating across Kent, Essex and Surrey.

Job Vacancy: Health Care Assistant Nights
Location: Bromley Park Care Centre, 75 Bromley Road, Beckenham, Kent, BR3 5PA
Contracted hours: Nights – 44 hours per week (4 shifts per week over a 7 day rota including every other weekend)
Hourly rate of pay: £13.00 per hour

You will have the opportunity to excel whilst:

• Providing physical and mental stimulation for residents by taking part in social and recreational activities, on a one-to-one and group basis
• Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing
• Assisting with mealtimes
• Ensuring residents’ independence, dignity and respect, by delivering the very best person-centred care
• Helping to maintain accurate records
• Undertaking regular ongoing training
• Developing relationships with our residents and their relatives in order to gain a better understanding of how to provide the best possible care

You will bring to the team:

• Dedication and commitment to making a difference to others’ lives
• Experience of working with people, in particular those thatmay have additional support needs e.g. people living with dementia
• An empathetic nature and a strong ability to communicate effectively
• Leadership and organisational skills (if applicable)
• Good IT skills (Outlook, Word) and ability to use authorised handheld devices (smartphones) to record your activity/care events (as applicable)
• Excellent team-work ability
