Job summary

Bromley Park Care Home, part of Nellsar, is seeking a Health Care Assistant Nights to join our caring team in Beckenham. The role covers 44 hours per week across 4 shifts on a 7 day rota, with every other weekend, and pays £13.00 per hour. You will support residents with daily living, companionship, and care they deserve.

Qualifications

• Dedication and commitment to making a difference to others' lives.
• Experience of working with people, including those with additional support needs such as dementia.
• Empathetic nature and strong communication skills.
• Leadership and organisational skills (if applicable).
• Good IT skills (Outlook, Word) and ability to use authorised handheld devices to record care events.
• Excellent teamwork ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical and mental stimulation for residents through activities.
• Assist residents with personal care such as washing, hygiene and dressing.
• Assist with mealtimes.
• Maintain residents' independence, dignity and respect with person-centred care.
• Help maintain accurate records.
• Undertake regular ongoing training.
• Develop relationships with residents and relatives to tailor care.
