Job summary

Nellsar is looking for a dedicated Healthcare Assistant Nights at Lulworth House Residential Care Home in Maidstone, Kent. The role involves delivering compassionate physical, emotional, and social support to residents and working as part of a supportive team.

You will assist with care plans, documentation, and safeguarding residents’ welfare, while maintaining independence and privacy. The company offers training, progression opportunities, and a warm, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring residents are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences are taken into consideration to enhance their wellbeing.
• Ensuring care plans, assessments and risk assessments and other care documentation in place to support residents are followed accordingly.
• Being responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of residents.
• Maintaining the residents' independence, privacy, and dignity always.
• Maintaining accurate and up to date records of all care given, onto our software package (handheld devices).
• Ensuring Infection Control procedures are always adhered to.

Location: Lulworth House Residential Care Home in Maidstone, Kent
Contracted hours: 33 hours (to include every other weekend working)
(Hourly) rate of pay: From £13.00
