A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Healthcare Assistant for the new Inpatient team at HMP Brixton. This role involves supporting registered nurses in delivering care to male patients with diverse needs, including those facing mental health and substance misuse challenges. Candidates must have an NVQ in Health and Social Care and the ability to work unsupervised. The position offers a full-time salary up to £32,134 per annum and requires night shifts.
Due to the recent recategorisation to a Category B Remand Prison, we have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our new Inpatient team at HMP Brixton.
HMP Brixton is now a Category B male prison housing men on remand. Our patients needs will vary greatly but there will be a focus on mental health, substance misuse and early days in custody.
Hours
This role is 37.5 hours per week - working nights (20:00 to 08:00)
Rotated between weekdays and weekends
Salary
This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to £32,134 per annum - depending on experience.
