Locum Ready is seeking Locum Healthcare Assistants to join flexible sessional work across community clinics, GP surgeries, and wider primary care services at Craighill Terrace. You will support patient assessments, carry out routine clinical procedures, and help maintain an efficient clinic environment with clear expectations and smooth day-to-day workflow for all staff.

Responsibilities include BP/pulse/temperature checks, routine treatment procedures, ECGs, phlebotomy if trained, patient

Competenze

• Experience working as an HCA in primary care, community or NHS settings.
• Phlebotomy skills beneficial.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Locum Ready is looking for Locum Healthcare Assistants in Craighill Terrace. This opportunity offers sessional work across community clinics, GP surgeries and wider primary care services, giving you the flexibility to select shifts that align with your experience and weekly availability.

You will play an important role in supporting patient assessments, carrying out routine clinical procedures and helping maintain an efficient clinic environment. Each service provides structured guidance to ensure clear expectations and smooth day-to-day workflow for all clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing phlebotomy if trained
• Assisting with patient education and lifestyle advice

Requirements

• Experience working as an HCA in primary care, community or NHS settings
