Locum Ready is seeking Locum Healthcare Assistants to work in Gorebridge across community clinics, GP surgeries and other primary care services. This role offers flexible, sessional shifts that fit your experience and weekly availability.

You will support patient assessments, perform routine clinical tasks, and help maintain efficient clinic operations, with clear guidance and expectations across services.

Formación

• Experience working as an HCA in primary care, community or NHS settings.
• Phlebotomy skills beneficial.
• Confident in carrying out standardised clinical tasks.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct basic patient observations including BP, pulse and temperature.
• Support routine treatment room procedures.
• Carry out ECGs and basic health checks.
• Perform phlebotomy if trained.
• Assist with patient education and lifestyle advice.
• Update clinical notes accurately in service systems.
• Provide general clinical support to nurses and GPs.

You will play an important role in supporting patient assessments, carrying out routine clinical procedures and helping maintain an efficient clinic environment. Each service provides structured guidance to ensure clear expectations and smooth day-to-day workflow for all clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities
