Locum Ready is seeking Locum Healthcare Assistants to work in Rowley Regis across community clinics, GP surgeries and wider primary care services. This role offers fully flexible sessions, allowing you to select shifts that fit your experience and weekly availability.

You will support patient assessments, carry out routine clinical procedures and help maintain an efficient clinic environment. DBS checks are expected, with guidance provided for safe, effective practice.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working as an HCA in primary care, community or NHS settings.
• Phlebotomy skills beneficial
• Confident in carrying out standardised clinical tasks
• Strong communication and time-management abilities
• Comfortable adapting to new clinical environments
• Enhanced DBS

Aufgaben

• Conducting basic patient observations including BP, pulse and temperature
• Supporting routine treatment room procedures
• Carrying out ECGs and basic health checks
• Performing phlebotomy if trained
• Assisting with patient education and lifestyle advice
• Updating clinical notes accurately in service systems and providing general clinical support to nurses and GPs
