You will help manage patient flow, support core clinical duties and contribute to high-quality care delivery, with strong support and clear guidance to ensure smooth sessions.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Healthcare Assistant in primary care or NHS settings.
• Phlebotomy experience is desirable.
• Comfortable carrying out clinical observations and routine measurements.
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills.
• Basic IT competence for clinical system documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform observations: BP, pulse, temp, oxygen saturation.
• Support treatment room procedures and routine patient assessments.
• Phlebotomy and sample handling if trained.
• Complete ECGs and assist with patient assessments.
• Provide lifestyle advice and health promotion support.
• Update patient records accurately in the clinical system.
• Assist clinicians with routine tasks as required.

You will be part of an organised primary care environment where you will help manage patient flow, assist with core clinical duties and contribute to high-quality care delivery. The practice offers strong support and clear guidance to ensure every session runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing observations including BP, pulse, temperature and oxygen saturation
• Supporting with treatment room procedures
• Phlebotomy and sample handling (if trained)
• Completing ECGs and assisting with routine patient assessments
• Providing lifestyle advice and supporting health promotion
• Updating patient records accurately in the clinical system
• Assisting clinicians with general tasks as required

Requirements

• Prior HCA experience in primary care or the NHS
• Phlebotomy experience desirable
• Comfortable carrying out clinical observations
• Good communication and patient interaction skills
• Basic IT competence for clinical system documentation

Working Pattern

• Ad-hoc or regular weekly sessions
