Client: County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust

Location: Darlington Memorial Hospital

Shifts: Various DAY shifts to suit you (earlies, lates, long days)

Role Overview: As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential care and support to patients, ensuring a high-quality care experience. You will work on various wards, assisting with daily tasks and patient needs.

Key Qualities: Empathy, patience, compassion, a friendly personality, quick thinking, attention to detail, systematic approach, and flexibility.

Main Duties:

  1. Assist nurses with patient care.
  2. Serve meals and assist with feeding.
  3. Help patients move and feel comfortable.
  4. Monitor patient conditions (temperature, pulse, respiration, weight).
  5. Maintain accurate patient records.

Requirements: Pass an enhanced background check, have at least 6 months recent NHS hospital experience with direct patient supervision, and provide references from the last two years.
