Job summary

Atrium Healthcare in Norwich is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support adults in residential, nursing, and clinical settings. You will perform personal care, provide emotional support, and help clients engage with community resources while maintaining compassionate, person-centered care.

The role requires a minimum of 6 months UK care experience, and a valid driving licence is desirable. This position offers weekly pay, training, and a supportive team environment in the Norfolk

Responsibilities

• Personal Care - supporting clients with daily hygiene routines such as washing, dressing and grooming.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members and professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of interventions and outcomes
• Provide emotional support and practical assistance to individuals to help them achieve their goals and aspirations
• Work closely in a holistic approach to care
• Establish trusting relationships with clients and their families.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals requiring support.
• Advocate for clients' needs and rights within the community and healthcare system.
• Respond to crisis situations and provide immediate support to individuals in distress.
• Implement crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies.
• Coordinate with emergency services when required.
• Support clients in engaging with community resources and activities-cinema, appointments etc
