We are seeking an experienced healthcare assistant to work full-time at Canterbury Skin and Laser Clinic. The successful candidate will undertake clinical activities under the supervision of the Lead Nurse.

Job Details

• Full Time (40 hours)
• Monday-Saturday (Saturday on shared rota basis)
• Salary from £25,396 per annum (increasing with relevant skills/experience)

Responsibilities

• Supporting dermatologists with consultations and surgical assistance (MOHS, excisions, biopsies, shaves)
• Venesection
• Wound checks, dressing changes, stitch removal post-surgery
• Maintaining infection control standards in line with CQC
• Daily clinic checks
• Stock management
• Promoting high standards of patient care
• Ensuring compliance with clinical audits, policies, and medical governance

Skills and Qualifications

• Care Certificate or higher
• Venepuncture/Phlebotomy experience (essential)
• Interest or background in Dermatology (desirable)
• Passion for patient care
• Understanding of CQC policies
• Good communication skills and team orientation
